Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Defense

The importance of countering CBR threats is paramount. The goal of the NTA is to leverage the private sector's investment in CBR technologies to meet the requirements for a diverse range of government users. The final objective is to develop CBR technologies that, coupled with the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Technology Alliance's (CBRTA) manufacturing capabilities, can place critical goods in the commercial marketplace. The five challenge areas are:
